Component Development Engineer SH:

- Study and validation of Components of Fuel, and/or SCR, and/or Water Injection systems for project
applications.
- Ensure, develop and diffuse within the company the expertise related to the functions and components of Fuel, and/or SCR, and/or Water Injection systems
- Preferred technical contact for the components of the Fuel, and / or SCR, and / or Water Injection systems
TASKS:

Responsibility 1: Component development:
Development of the Components for which he is responsible, together with the AE.
- Analysis of customer specifications for the delegated components.
- Writing of specifications (CTS) and validation of supplier offers with the Purchasing department (contribution to Deviation List)
- Management of developments (including DFMEA) and validations by suppliers.
- Monitoring of validation tests related to the component with customers.
- Participate in the industrial development of the component(s) for the production.

Responsibility 2: Costing projects:
- Analysis of customer specifications and associated standards
- Contribute to the List of Applicable Standards (LAS)
- Risk analysis related to the functions delegated
- Contribution to the Critical Requirement List (CRL)
- Draft Component Technical Spécifications (CTS)

Responsibility 3: Control of the objective cost:
- Contribution to the control of the objective cost price of the product, validations and related
development costs.

Responsibility 4: Development of expertise:
- Development of expertise and continuous improvement - establishment of databases, calculation methods, correlations, test procedures,
- Capitalization of expertise: drafting of technical reports, design guides, feedback (Lessons learned), GPS, etc.
- Interventions at the manufacturers in support to the AE, on the proposed technical solutions (functions and / or components)
- Become Referent for component and/or function(s) according to rules defined by the department

General responsibility:
- Application of our Quality standards: compliance with our internal procedures (Component & functions Procedure, CTS drafting), use of controlled documents
- Apply problem solving methodologies and tools (8D...)

YOUR PROFILE:

o Mechanical, or chemistry or Plastics Engineer
o Languages: Fluent in French and English; German (Reading) is a plus
o Computing tools : Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, CAD viewer Team center

Your technical skills:
o Strong skills in physics, chemistry and/or mechanics.
o Knowledge of Fuel, and / or SCR, and / or Water injection systems
o Processing of plastic parts (injection, blow-molding, extrusion) and metal parts
o Problem Solving

Your soft skills:

o Sense of organization and management of priorities (job with multiple projects and components)
o Team spirit, listen
